As described in an earlier post, one of our planned summer projects was to relocate an historic cabin. Today, we moved the cabin from the vehicle maintenance lot up to Pano flats across from the bottom of the Panorama lift. We worked with Terry’s Crane & Rigging to relocate the cabin. Definitely was not their first rodeo! All went well and the cabin remained intact. They sure built them well back in the day! Next we will sandblast and restore the exterior, replace windows and doors, build stairs and skirting. We will tackle what we can this fall and complete the rest next summer. Lift maintenance will have a mountain office this year in a perfectly located strategic spot.
