Another Ski Away

I always find myself at this time of the season needing a few days skiing at our partner resorts. When you work in the industry, there is something great about just going skiing somewhere else. No uniform, no radio, no on-mountain duties. I guess most of you would just consider this a normal day of skiing!

With Copper Mountain being a simple drive up the Upper Arkansas River Valley and a short hop over Fremont Pass, I seem to make it there each season. While they have a base village and a lot of amenities, it somehow still feels more laid back than the mega resorts nearby. Particularly on a weekday. Copper has a variety of terrain…fast groomers, fun steeps and long bump runs. Copper is one of our partner resorts that Monarch pass holders can visit for free (3-days per season). Take the easy drive, and just go skiing!
