The new RFID gates are currently being installed at the base of our lifts. These units scan an RFID card placed in a pocket (on your left side and between the waist and shoulder) allowing streamlined access to the lifts. When using an RFID card, there is no more messing around while wearing ski gloves to present a barcode on your lift ticket/season pass to a ticket checker to scan for every single lift ride. Additionally, when needing to purchase a lift ticket or the next year’s season pass, it can now simply be reloaded onto your RFID card online. When purchasing online, you have the convenience of bypassing the ticket lines to go straight to the lift from your car. Additionally, there will be two ticket kiosks adjacent to the windows that can be utilized for picking up pre-purchased tickets/cards instead of waiting in a line at the ticket windows. Old school adds another touch of high tech.
