Storm Update

We are watching things closely as the upcoming round of snow develops. So far we have only seen 4″ of snow in the last few days. We are really looking for double digits this week to make a positive change out there on some of our previously bare slopes and lift unload ramps. While there are some huge forecasts out there for parts of the state, Monarch looks to be in the 6-12″ range for snow over the next 24 hours. You can see our butterfly location on the CAIC WRF forecast map below. We have been continuing to get snowcats out packing the slopes and moving snowdrifts around that were captured by snowfences.
