What a storm cycle. We received 65″ of snow over a 10-day stretch with over 4″ of SWE. The mountain has been transformed from where we were at just before Christmas. Bare slopes are covered, thin and punchy areas now have a solid base, and our lift served terrain is open wall to wall. While a significant storm cycle was just what we needed to get the mountain going, it truly tested our machines and crew during the holiday period. Kudos to all the mountain ops crews for night after night of plowing and grooming a path through the blizzard, keeping the machines and lifts running, mitigating avi hazard, parking full lots of cars, and shoveling their way through deep drifts into all of the facilities each morning. The snow is amazing but so was the sun today. Enjoy!
